What is the difference between notarization without monetary value, with monetary value and for authenticity?

The notarization is considered without monetary value, for example, in a residence declaration, CNPJ entry document.

Recognition with monetary value is done on most documents; i.e., whenever the expression monetary is used, transfer of values, tax payments, etc.

The notarization signature is done in the presence of the person that will have your signature recognized. The person must come to the Notary Public Office, present identification documents and sign the attendance book. This type of notarization recognition is required in some cases. The most common example is the transfer of vehicles in the DUT.

How much is the notarization without monetary value, with monetary value and for authenticity?

The notarization in document without monetary value is R$ 6.79. The notarization in document with monetary value is R$ 10.37. The notarization for authenticity is R$ 17.36.

Do I need to go to the Public Notary Office to notarize documents?

You are only obliged to if you are going to do a business setup or if you are going to notarize for the purpose of authenticity. Otherwise, you can send a submitter.

What documents are requested for business setup?

The documents requested are the ID, CPF, driving license or a professional identity (example: OAB issued card, CRM, CREA, etc.).

Can the Notary Public Office and give me a discount?

All the Notary Public Offices of Itapira must charge the same amount as the prices are stipulated by law.

It is not possible to grant discounts and nor can any fee be charged as they are already fixed in the cost table.

What forms of payment are accepted by the Notary Public Office?

For the recognition of signatures and authentications we accept payment in cash only.

For deeds (powers of attorney, testaments, asset deeds, notarial minutes, etc.) we accept cash and bank transfer.

Does the Public Notary Office issue electoral title?

No. Such services are provided by the Electoral Registry.

Does the Notary Public Office offer the service for the process of separation and divorce?

Yes.

Do I need a lawyer for the process of separation and divorce? Does the Notary Public Office can appoint me a lawyer?

The Lawyer is needed, but the Notary Public Office cannot appoint you one.

What is the purpose of presenting a title to protest?

Requesting the protest of a title is essential to prove that determined title or billing document was not paid according to the date mentioned.

Therefore, through protest, the creditor proves that the debtor’s arrears and defaults (non-compliance with the payment obligation), increasing the possibilities of receiving the amount due.

How to request the protest of a title?

The protest of a title can be done online or directly at the notary distributor.

Which titles can be protested?

The request for a protest at a Notary Public Office can be made for all credit instruments, such as checks, trade bills, service bills, promissory notes, credit bills, bills of exchange, credit notes, court rulings and condominium quotas, in addition to executive bonds judicial and extrajudicial, among other debt documents.

What is a Consent Letter?

It is a statement by which the creditor authorizes the protested debt title or document to be canceled. The document can be requested directly by the contract holder, or by third parties, if there is a power of attorney authorizing another person to obtain the document.

How do I know who protested me?

To know who protested, request a certificate in the website www.protestosp.com.br/

The certificate is a document that details all the protest data (creditor’s name, address and data of the title).

Why wasn’t I warned of the protest?

The Notary Public Office forwards the summon of the subpoena to the debtor at the address provided by the CREDITOR. In case the person cannot be located, the notary public office uses all available means to find him/her, in the last instance, release the public notice that is fixed at the Notary Public Office.
